Pilates Reformer tower wunda chair equipment

I teach a physical therapy-based approach rooted in classic time-proven methodology that will leave you feeling taller and stronger after every session. We utilize the reformer, tower, and wunda chair in our sessions. Looking for “athletic reformer” classes? We can do that too!

Private Pilates lessons are tailored specifically to your body, goals, and movement patterns. Unlike group classes, where everyone follows the same sequence, private sessions allow the instructor to focus on your unique needs—whether you're recovering from an injury, managing chronic tension, building strength, or deepening your practice. You'll get personalized corrections, hands-on guidance, and a pace that fits you. This one-on-one attention helps you progress more efficiently and safely, especially if you're new to Pilates or working with specific physical concerns.

Pilates

Pilates is a movement method developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century, originally called “Contrology.” Drawing from elements of yoga, gymnastics, and martial arts, he created it to improve strength, flexibility, posture, and mental focus. Joseph first used his method to help rehabilitate injured soldiers during World War I, and later refined it in New York City while working with dancers, athletes, and everyday clients. Today, Pilates is practiced worldwide, with a focus on core strength, mindful movement, and whole-body alignment—making it a highly effective and personalized approach to fitness, especially through private lessons.

I offer Pilates Reformer and yoga sessions with a focus on both rehab and prehab—supporting recovery, injury prevention, and long-term wellness through mindful, somatic movement. Whether you're looking to improve your daily quality of life or enhance athletic performance, these practices help build strength, coordination, and resilience. Athletes can bulletproof their bodies for better performance and longevity in their sport, while individuals with neurological conditions like Parkinson’s, MS, or TBI often experience improved mobility, balance, and body awareness with a consistent Pilates practice.
