Wellness & Therapeutic Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Gentle, Restorative MLD for Chronic Conditions & Immune Support
Certified Vodder-Style MLD in Colorado Springs

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle, rhythmic therapy that supports the body’s natural detoxification and immune systems. By encouraging the movement of lymph fluid, MLD helps reduce inflammation, ease fluid retention, and restore balance to the nervous system.

Whether you’re managing a chronic condition, navigating fatigue and stress, or simply looking to support your body’s long-term health, MLD offers a deeply restorative path to feeling better in your body.

As a Certified Manual Lymph Drainage Therapist (CMLDT) trained in the Vodder method, I offer therapeutic MLD sessions that are grounded in both clinical knowledge and compassionate care.

🌿 Who Can Benefit from MLD?

  • Lymphedema (primary or secondary)

  • Lipedema

  • Autoimmune conditions (e.g., rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, Hashimoto’s)

  • Chronic fatigue or fibromyalgia

  • Sinus congestion, brain fog, or inflammation

  • High-stress lifestyles or post-illness recovery

  • General wellness & seasonal detox support

💆‍♀️ What Does a Wellness MLD Session Look Like?

  • Light, rhythmic skin-stretching techniques (no oils or lotions)

  • Performed with you comfortably reclined and fully supported

  • Calms the nervous system and encourages parasympathetic activity

  • May support improved sleep, digestion, and immune resilience

Many clients describe MLD as deeply relaxing—like pressing a gentle “reset” button for the body.

⚖️ MLD Is Not...

This is not a massage for muscle tissue, deep pressure release, or aesthetic "sculpting."
Vodder-style MLD is medically-informed and focused on internal balance, immune function, and lymphatic health—not cosmetic outcomes.

🫀 Lymphedema Support

If you’ve been diagnosed with lymphedema, MLD may help reduce limb heaviness, improve mobility, and support daily fluid management. Please note: I do not offer compression garment fitting, but can work in collaboration with your medical provider or CDT (certified lymphedema therapist) if needed.

“Her technique is outstanding. I was recommended by my doctor to do lymphatic massages after my surgery. Every doctor’s visit I was told my recovery was progressing amazingly. I owe it to Laura. It’s clear she has deep understanding of the craft and I feel so much better after each session. "
